I don't know what to call it- maybe the "illumination dot"? No matter. It's a handy little piece of punctuation/coding. •
David Mack's art on "Daredevil"When the text is aligned to the left, it works very nicely in the way I originally intended.
But I don't use left alignment normally; I think justified text looks much neater. And with justified text, it doesn't work so well. •

Obviously, the ideal illumination dot would keep the margins exactly as they are before and after the dot, but just put a line in between. I have no idea how to do this, and I strongly suspect it's not even possible. How about the forum method of fake blanks?. •-------
I can't get a lock, sir!As soon as the rest of the line disappears, the text shifts out of place. You see the problem. What to do, what to do.

Arrrgggh! This isn't working! I need a solution quick, before anyone tries to read this!"which I came up with in writing the post "I'm not.", was to have two dots, with seven periods in the middle. It works, but I hate it.

Blah blah blah, blah bla- Blah! Blah; blah blah? Blah blah.Yeah, this works. Just so long as no one selects it, that is. It'll be a pain to enter every time I want to use the dot, but I'll manage.
